How to Create Reports in cyberark PAM

1. Log in to CyberArk Dashboard

• Open the CyberArk Privileged Access Security (PAS) dashboard.

• Enter your credentials to access the system.

2. Navigate to the Reports Section

• On the left-hand panel, go to the Reports tab.

• You will find options for creating or viewing reports.

3. Create a New Report

• Click New Report or Create Report.

• Choose either a predefined report (e.g., user activity, access logs) or custom report:

• Predefined reports: CyberArk offers templates such as password change logs, compliance reports, or session recordings.

• Custom reports: You can specify the filters, such as specific users, accounts, or time frames.

4. Configure Report Parameters

• Select the desired data type (e.g., vault activities, session recordings).

• Set your filters and date range for the data to be included in the report.

5. Generate the Report

• After configuring, click Generate. The report will now be created.

• You can export the report as a PDF, CSV, or Excel file.

6. Check the Report Status

• To check the report’s status, go to the Report Queue or Audit tab.

• The report will show one of the following statuses:

• In Progress: The report is still being generated.

• Completed: The report is ready for download.

• Failed: There was an issue generating the report (you can review error logs to troubleshoot).

7. Schedule Recurring Reports (Optional)

• Go to the Scheduling section to automate reports (e.g., daily, weekly).

• Configure the report schedule and parameters, and reports will be generated automatically.

This process should cover creating and managing reports, along with tracking their status effectively in CyberArk.
