1. Log in to CyberArk Dashboard
• Open the CyberArk Privileged Access Security (PAS) dashboard.
• Enter your credentials to access the system.
2. Navigate to the Reports Section
• On the left-hand panel, go to the Reports tab.
• You will find options for creating or viewing reports.
3. Create a New Report
• Click New Report or Create Report.
• Choose either a predefined report (e.g., user activity, access logs) or custom report:
• Predefined reports: CyberArk offers templates such as password change logs, compliance reports, or session recordings.
• Custom reports: You can specify the filters, such as specific users, accounts, or time frames.
4. Configure Report Parameters
• Select the desired data type (e.g., vault activities, session recordings).
• Set your filters and date range for the data to be included in the report.
5. Generate the Report
• After configuring, click Generate. The report will now be created.
• You can export the report as a PDF, CSV, or Excel file.
6. Check the Report Status
• To check the report’s status, go to the Report Queue or Audit tab.
• The report will show one of the following statuses:
• In Progress: The report is still being generated.
• Completed: The report is ready for download.
• Failed: There was an issue generating the report (you can review error logs to troubleshoot).
7. Schedule Recurring Reports (Optional)
• Go to the Scheduling section to automate reports (e.g., daily, weekly).
• Configure the report schedule and parameters, and reports will be generated automatically.
